This DVD box set will really only apply to the fans of Mahabharat I think, if you have never seen it before. I would surjest finding someone that has either watched it before and get them to explain it to you or even better find someone that has bought it already and watch a few bits of it and see what you think of it; before you go to the shops and spend £59.99 for it. With a peak of 5 million I?m sure you will be able to find someone that you know that has seen it before and if you are not interested but you know that they would like to watch 15 hours of it, then it would be a great present for them (then you will be able to watch it with them!)
The Mahabharat television series is based upon the epic verse of the same name written by Rishi Ved Vynasa, and ancient Himalayan mystic, philosopher and thinker.
This 5 discs set recounts the story of five heroic brothers, the Phandavas. Robbed of their kingdom and exiled by their envious cousins, they encounter many hardships culminating in an apocalyptic war.
