Up until now, World War 1 had always been seen as a war that happened in black and white, but that was not the reality.

The documentary is told over 6 parts -

World War 1 in Colour uses rare archive black and white footage from sources around the world. it took 5 months and 490 experienced technicains using the latest computer-aided technology, to bring the documentary to colour, as it was experienced by thoose who during and after the war.
